Any tips of how to form a patient management plan I'm having trouble for some reason with this and I'm indecisive any tips or tricks. That's what's keeping me from getting signed off at the medics level. I didn't really do much 911 as a basic, I did do transfers though. Advice would be greatly appreciated. Some patients I do awesome on and others I don't do so hot on.

Oh and ongoing assessments is just evaluating the treatment I gave correct?

As in if it's working or not.

Treat -> reassess -> rinse and repeat. Don't keep trying something that's not working, change it up...

I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for.

Pull out your CPR card. Look at it. Pull out your national registry. Look at it. And look at your paramedic check off sheets. If you'll notice, and remember, they all three follow the same basic principal: general impression, airway, breathing, circulation, disability.

All pt assessment begins and ends with CPR; from CNA all the way up to cardiothoracic surgery. Paramedics are somewhere in the middle.

Your medical assessment on your paramedic checkoff is a good template to use as is your trauma checkoff. Study those. Use those. The book does work in real life. Good luck.
