I am a pastor and i am considering accepting a position as part-time pastor of a small congregation. I will need to find a second career that fits well with serving a church. My work hours at the church would be very flexible, with the obvious exception of Sunday mornings.
I am very seriously considering becoming an EMT. From my research, it is clear that every job is different in its scheduling. In general terms, is it reasonable to ask for all Sunday mornings off?

Yeah, so long as you aren't on a rotating shift schedule (i.e. 24 on/ 48 off or the like). Most private places will more or less let you choose which days you want to work each week.

Haha one of the partners I worked with was a former pastor. He is now a paramedic.

Very reasonable to have the ability to have sundays off. I work two 24s and still run a business on the side so its very much possible.
