passed the nremt now what?

So I passed the nremt a week ago, now I need to get a live scan test? My question is... when I get it done, do I need to mail it in with my other stuff to get my state license? Or does it have to clear ?

or do I have to wait for something to come in the mail saying that my live scan cleared? I would like to mail all of this is asap to get my state license, Im just lost as of what to do with the live scan part?
 
On the front page of the NREMT website there is a link that says State EMS agency info. Click on that when you do a map of the country will pop up. You will then click on the state you are in and it will take you to your state EMS agency website, and from there you should be able to find the info that you need.
 
What state do you live/plan on working in? Some states are a little different than others.
