Leland Volunteer Fire/Rescue Department is opening up our hiring pool to identify qualified applicants for part-time or full-time positions in 2013.

Candidates should meet one of the following:
- Paramedic (NC EMT-P required, ability to obtain FFII, EVD, HAZMAT Ops)
- FFII/EMT-I (requires EVD and HAZMAT Ops)
- FFII/EMT-B (requires EVD and HAZMAT Ops)

We're a non-profit combined department in Southeastern North Carolina (Brunswick County) with 19 career and ~80 volunteer members. We're a progressive ALS-transporting fire department, handling approximately 2300 EMS calls a year. We run one ALS unit 24x7 and additional ALS or BLS units when volunteers are able. We take EMS seriously and our providers enjoy a broad scope of practice. Shifts are 24 on, 72 off with competitive pay for the area.
