Hi There Hope everybody is doing GREAT ^_^ Well right now im in school i am almost done with my basic and plan on going all the way to paramedic but unfortunately where i am from fire Controls Everything and i honostly dont want to become a firefighter:sad: The privates here are bad jobs are hard to get people that i have talked to have said sometimes they struggle to get hours to even work so i was thinking of working as an er tech at the hospital for a couple of years is it different i know i wont be allowed to use all my skills but job security is better ANY ADVICE I dont want to move :(

If you are willing to take a significantly lower salary then go for it. Its different everywhere but around here an ER Tech (even with a P next to their name) makes less than half of a FF/Medic's salary.

The hospital I am pays better than ambulance services. However. It is not better than FF/Medics. But those jobs are far an few with the way local governments are hiring...

The ER i work in gives medics their full state scope of practice (way less litimiting than the local pre-hospital services), they do make considerably less than the pre-hospital porviders.
