Paramedic TDHS application processing

hello, all.
I just mailed in my paperwork for my initial application for the paramedic certification in Texas. I am curious as to how long they are taking these days to process and confirm your application to "officially" be certified. Thanks!

Mine took four weeks, but it was also considered an upgrade since I had been a texas intermediate at the time, just not living in state. I think its averaging 5 weeks right now for new applicants

I was afraid of it taking forever. Mine too is considered an upgrade, since I went EMT-B to Paramedic. Unfortunately, the longer it take TDHS, the longer it takes me to get that pay raise and put that fancy new red patch on my uniform. Haha
