Hey folks, my class just finished our written final and I smoked it. This Tuesday and Thursday we have our skills finals. Out of 16 skills, we're only allowed to fail and retake 4. Anyways, other than religiously going over the skills sheets and watching videos, what are some of the ways you guys studied for your skills finals? I'll be in the library tomorrow staring at my skills sheets for at least 10 hours. Wish me luck!

It is a stressful time so don't overdo it and put more stress on yourself. Take a break. If you don't know it at this point you probably never will. Get lots of sleep and rest. Good luck.

I honestly spent maybe an hour looking at the skill sheets for the NREMT, spent a couple hours practicing with a few classmates and left it at that.

Tim has a very valid point, spending 10 hours staring at those skill sheets, many of which are things you already do at work, is just going to mentally wear you out.

I hear you fellas, I just have to make sure not to do anything boneheaded like forgetting to swab a port and fail, ya know?

Passed with flying colors!

Well congrats. From what I hear its pretty tough for you guys to get ride out spots, taking a few months usually. That true? That would suck... Can't imagine 3 months in between clinicals and internship.
