Hello everyone,
I am going on Friday for an interview to gain hospital sponsorship for a paramedic program here in NJ (the interview is at the hospital not the college). I saw a few other threads posted on the "interview" topic, but I would like some input from others past experiences on questions that they have been asked. I normally interview well (8 yrs in the military and am used to promotion boards etc), but I am slightly concerned about being asked any trick scenario questions etc -- anything off the wall.
Input from anyone???
Thanks in advance.

I never had intense questions for my school. It was: why do you want to do this? Why do you think you'd be good at it? Why would you be better than other candidates? What will you do to be successful throughout the program? Then they pretty much make sure you understand that you're giving up an entire year of your life, and make sure you know what that means. Many medic programs today (at least where I am) are 3-5 times the hours of programs 10-20 years ago, yet both are/were still completed in a year. You don't have time for personal relationships, a second job (you really don't even have time for a first job), you won't have time for any other school, and you'll have to take it extremely seriously just to stay in.

This was pretty much my experience as well.
