Paramedic school and the real world

i had to take out a personal loan to do mine since the school loans were ridiculous on interest. i schedule work around school, and study at work on downtime and at home when i can. i have no family life anymore but i just tell myself it will be worth it in the end. our didactic is 7 months of tuesdays and fridays 0900 to 1800. then 160hrs clinicals and 480 to 720 hours internship with minimum required 40 ALS contacts. shouldnt be hard to get in a busy system. just stick with it and study as much as you possibly can. im managing to stay number one in my class of 36 and still work 48 to 60 hrs a week. it is possible but not easy. stick with it and good luck!

I teach in a Program that has class two days a week from 0800-1700 with lecture and lab together on T/TR. We recently made the switch from a night class from 1730-2200 two nights a week with a lab on a serate day. The new day schedule seems to work better for all involved.
