I have a pop up that keeps coming back that says I have a corrupt and unreadable file, to run chkdsk yadayada, but chkdsk wont run saying sometihng about the administrator account and I'm on the only account on this computer.

So techie who thinks they can help me please pm me, thanks! :)

After a chat session last night, it is a problem in a program and not with windows. I would detail what program it is, but I was sworn to secrecy upon threat of pain.:P

IS Sasha playing "Dressup Barbie" on the Mattel website again?

Or was it "GTA"?.

I found the file that's causing problems but it wont let me delete it because it's corrupt and unreadable... I'm not trying to read it, I want to delete it :(

Before you do anything, back up and scan all your data.

If this is a vital program, or it is jammed sideways in there, you may end up either purposely, or inadvertently, end up needing to reload your machine's operating files from any disks or whatever media that came with it...i.e., dump city.

right click file go to properties select security make sure that all the check marks are for the admin are checked if not click edit and check all the ticks that are not checked and then close then find the file and delete.
