Online EMS AS degrees

Hey guys

Does anyone know of any online AA/AS degrees that I can take my EMT-B cert to and turn it into an AA/AS (I would have to take additional classes obviously) I know theres some for Paramedic and also a Paramedic to BS degree.

You'll find they aren't terribly popular on here but there are a few. Regardless of the program you'll still have to do in person labs and clinicals/field time. I don't have any experience with any of them beyond knowing they exist so I'll let others give you names if they know any.

Personally I don't see any difference between sitting in class watching powerpoints and sitting at home whatching powerpoints and 90 percent of the programs out there online or not are 90 percent PowerPoint.

You wish to keep your EMT-B and get an AA or AAS correct? You do not wish to upgrade cert's to -P? I just want to make sure so I know if I have relevant information pertaining to your question

Yes I wish to keep the emt b, I doubt there's a emt p upgade online with me finding local clinical time. I work normal m -f so its hard to commit to traditional classes

Online Paramedic and they work with you to find local clinicals.

Not sure if they still do it but she used to help you once a Paramedic to get your degree, might ask her.

The college network use to have some kind of "EMT to EMS Management" degree, might want to check that out. The thing is your EMT training is generally only worth less than 1 full time semester at college. There tends to be a lot more Paramedic degree paths for that reason.
