I was wondering if anybody knew of some good CE websites for paramedic's. I'm not looking into this to get CEU's just to further my knowledge. One with video presentations would be awesome. Thank you for the help!

I use sites affiliated with CECBEMS for most of my EMS CE. Some of the sites are actually considered "instructor" led so I can use them for all my California CEU's. Most of those sites are "paid" CEU sites, but some may have intro courses that are free... check it out!

Thank you, that is a great website!

Distance cme is live video lectures. They count hour for hour for nremt recert.

Distance CME looks like a great website, but man they are not cheap. Thank you though!

RN.com

Haven't done any of the courses there myself but I've heard good things.

I'm definitely going to look into some of there programs for my CEU's. I guess what I'm really looking for right now is a good place to find some educational videos to watch while I'm posted.

I did my entire 48 hour paramedic refresher and ACLS with distance cme a few months back for my NREMT recert. If you have any questions let me know.

one of the greatest resources for learn on your own videos is yutube.

you have to sift thru the crap, but theres a lot of good stuff on there.

As mentioned, If your using this for professional licence/certification renewl(i.e. NREMT) you are not allowed to take all online coursewook. Most of it has to be considered live by CECBEMS. They way distance cme and others get around this is by giving you live lectures in a virtual classroom, they are not pre recorded and they are CECBEMS approved as category F5, which is considered the same as face to face time in a classroom. Just something to keep in mind.
