Depends on your work ethic. I find that running 5-7 calls in a 12-hour shift is ideal as it makes the day go by faster and keeps us from pondering the meaning of life. It's really not that bad.

Integris techs do a lot of med pushes, skills, IVs, etc. Same as OU and Mercy. No tubes. Mercy also has an EMS division. OU and Integris do not.

EMSA is an all-ALS, medical-in-charge SSM Pmed/EMT system. It's not horrible.

Mercy has an EMS division? Didn't know that. I haven't heard anything bad about mercy from a workers point of view. I once had a patient come into our er saying he broke his back and mercy sent him home. We xrayed him and he had a fractured L5.

I just remembered St Anthonys has EMS. Mostly transfers. Their ambulance was stolen a few months back and was involved in a pursuit. I haven't seen them around much since.
