I was about a mile away restraining a fairly combative psych patient when they went down. Enough of a flash to distract him, then the radios went crazy.

RIP, guys.

Anyone else find themselves extra safety-conscious this week? I've been strapping in better for literally everyone, and minimizing my time out of my restraints consciously. IEMS and now this...it's a bad month.

I've been telling my partners who never wear their seat belt in the back to wear theirs. Found myself securing everthing in the back even the manual BP cuff.

RIP, guys, prayers with the families of the crew, stay safe out there guys...

Unfortuantely, I too hear the blast and thought of a horrible event. Although, we realize when we enter the bird the consequences, too many are not making it home.
Your family are in our prayers,

I've been doing the same, even though I know they were wearing seat belts. RIP, and everyone be careful.
