Sorry if I missed it in your thread, but what is the website to go to. I just finished my emt class, and was looking for a prep test for the nremt-b. Thanks in advance!!
I'm currently using parameducators to study for the written. I've heard many good things about it from EMTs who have used it. I've also heard that it is A LOT like the actual exam. So far, I like it. It's nice because it determines what areas you're strong in and what you should probably study more. Basically, it's just a bunch of practice exams. You can take as many as you'd like, and you can specify what you want covered on the exam, and take off anything you don't want, and based on that, it generates a practice exam for you. So, if you don't want any pediatric questions, eliminate that, and you'll get a test without pediatric-specific questions. There are always 50 questions on the exam, so if there is an area you know you need to study, generate a test with only that category and you'll still get 50 questions, just on one subject, like cardiac or respiratory or whatever. You get your scores right away, it tells you your lesson average, it tells you what your "grade" is in every area, so you know what to work on! Anyway, right now it costs about $40 for one month for EMT-B. I think it's definitely worth the money.
