Hello all! I am a paramedic in Texas. I currently work as a civilian for the DOD. I work on a Army post for a army hospital on a MICU. I have 7 years of experience, with 4 of them serving as a paramedic. I have recently hit a stale mate in my career and have decided to start looking for employment either overseas or in the Gulf of Mexico as a rig medic. I honestly enjoy working for the DOD, but with the current status of the government, with the threats of sequestration and furlough, I am thinking I might need to move on. Any info you guys may have to help me move on would be very much appreciated. Thanks for all y'all's help and time in advance.
