I'm a little confused. Say I complete my EMT basic class at school and all my practicals in December of 2014. How long after that do I have to complete my NREMT exam to become certified? I thought you only had a year but on NREMT.org, it still allows me to sign up for the test, though it's been over a year. Is it actually two years?

Two years, but your individual testing components are only good for a year (as in, your practicals need to be retested)
