NR in California

Does anybody happen to know if there are any counties in California that do *not* require the NR right now? California does a lot of things on a county-by-county basis, and the National Registry requirements seem to vary.

So, I could either call up the EMS agency in each county, or ask you guys. I've already learned that the following counties are NR:
* Santa Clara (mine)
* San Mateo
* Alameda
* Contra Costa

I've already taken the NR and hopefully passed, so that's not really the problem. The issue is that I'm missing out on some paying gigs right now because I lack an actual official county card. If there is a county that doesn't require the NR, I can obtain certification in that county and then simply do my local stuff once the NR results come in. At least, that's the idea. Whether or not it's even feasable remains to be seen.
Calling our state EMS agency leads you to voicemail hell. Voicemails that are never returned.

For California, it shows Paramedic only. Does that mean that if I go to another state, there's no reciprocity with the EMT-B? I'm kind of confused on that one.
I took the test on the 12th, the tests were allegedly FedEx'd out on the 15th, and I have no results as of yet. Rumor has it that around 3 day weekends, the progress of test scoring slows down significantly. :-|

I have no clue. But it usually doesn't take as long as they say for you to get your results from the NR. So the wait might not be that big a deal. Also my county is hiring even though people have just taken the tests. With the hiring process being a bit longer than a regular job that buys you time as well.

Usually counties have thier own website and that should tell you what their req's are, just google them.
