I totally get there has to be a test bank of questions, but I am wondering how y'alls test went.

It seems everyone that gave me advice on mine said to really study up on the OB stuff and normal vital signs stuff.

Luckily, I didn't focus on just one or two subjects, but reviewed them all as I realized where I was deficient according to the practice exams.

However, my test seemed really heavy on Shock Mgmt and Airway control. A lot of how would you treat this type of patient exihibiting shock symptoms. Then they would have something horribly f-ed up with the patient like neck trauma, an unstable pelvis, and bilat femur fx. Or they would take that equally messed up patient and have him having airway troubles.

Did y'all find your exam to be heavier in one or two areas or did it seem to cover all material well?

Yeah, mine was heavy on airway & shock too.

Mine was heavy on airways too. My friends mother runs the NREMT testing for the Detroit area and she says that there is a few different test that are passed out to help prevent cheating. So the person sitting on your right has a different test then you and you have a different test then the one on your left. That's why you hear different things from people........it all depends on which version they got.
I thought the test was rather brutal, but I was pleasantly surprised when I got my score and the breakdown!
Have you found out if you passed yet?

It's always heavy on Airway, and shock. I think the reason that you may have been told to pay attention to OB is due to the fact that EMT-B classes usually don't spend a TON of time on that topic, and depending on your instructor, certain aspects may not have been emphasized enough.

Always study it all.
