Not really EMS, but healthcare related.

Glad to see 4 others nailed for failure to report.

Is it wrong that I had the sudden urge to punch these two girls in the face after I read this:
they spat in residents' mouths, poked and groped their breasts and genitals, and at times mocked them until they screamed.
WTF is wrong with people?!

I know I'm probably going to He!! for this, but why would you want to get into such an intimate distance that you would spit in a nursing home resident's mouth? I haven't met a nursing home resident yet who didn't smell really bad.

Careful there. Verbal abuse of nursing home patients can be just as scandalous. I have heard way too many things said from some EMT(P)s in hearing distance of many NH residents, patients, families and healthcare providers that could actually be a form of abuse. It doesn't matter if the words were spoken directly at a specific patient. While one may have vocalized just an opinion, it can also be something that could be used against them if any situation is ever questioned.
