Hey all-
I am starting school at the end of March for EMT-I. I have so many questions and trying to get my hands on as much information as I can. If you guys could suggest any good books or movies that would be great, I have alot of questions I want to ask so please bear with me and feel free to ask me any.
A little about myself, I am 31 year old wife and mother of one. I have always worked in the medical field and for as long as I can remember wanted to be a Paramedic. I got stuck in the rut of life, liking my job but knowing there was more out there and wanting to go for it, I finally did, I applied for school, took the entrance exam, and I am program ready to go
!
My mother had MS and comitted suicide about 2 1/2 years ago, I fell into a deep depression as she was my best friend, finally got help and ready to live out my dreams finally.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and hope you all don't mind answering a few questions.
If you could tell me one thing that you know now that would help me what would it be?
What do you love most about your job?
What do you dislike most about your job?
What do you make and what is your certification level?
What was your training like?
What were your first days like?
Thanks so much guys!
Jenn
