I was wondering if anybody on the boards has gone through a NYS refresher and has info on the design of the NYS refresher course challenge component -- do they typically require attendance at most of the classes if the challenge is successfully passed?

I was wondering if anybody on the boards has gone through a NYS refresher and has info on the design of the NYS refresher course challenge component -- do they typically require attendance at most of the classes if the challenge is successfully passed?

When you take the challenge exam the topics that you receive a passing score on, you do not have to attend the classroom session. There are mandatory sessions that can not be challenged out of.
