Hey guys,

I just finished up my EMT-B and start paramedic school in January. Would love to hear any advice for the first semester. I'll be taking advanced airway/pt. assessment, and intro. to advanced practice. I'll also be taking pharmacology and medical terminology.

I think one of the most important things to do to prepare for medic school is to make sure you're an organized person. Medic school was as much studying and clinicals as it was turning in paperwork on time and in the correct order.

This is especially true if you're going through a college, like I did. They were very meticulous when it came to how and when they wanted to paperwork. Not a day early, not a day late. Certain orders, certain color code.

You name it. So, if you are already an organized person, that will help you greatly.

Take care,
