Hey everyone. I'm new here. Still a student, I graduate EMT-I school in August. I went straight to Intermediate training, because in Georgia it's very hard to find a job as an EMT-B. I can't wait to graduate and find a job in the field.

Good luck, I know how hard it is to go straight out as an EMT-I and not have field expreince as a Basic I had my basic less than a year before going to I and I didn't even want to at the time. In Maine you have to have X number of people to offer the the pre-test and I was there as a body didn't matter if I passed or failed the others were there to pass and take the course. Needless to say I passed they failed and I was told since I was full-time "I was taking the course" so I took it and passed.
