INDIANAPOLIS --

Police stressed safety for visiting motorcyclists Saturday after a crash between a biker and an ambulance.

Nathan King, 20, of Elmira Heights, N.Y., was taken to Wishard Memorial Hospital in critical condition Saturday afternoon after he drove into the side of an ambulance near the Indianapolis International Motor Speedway, said Sgt. Matthew Mount.

Well, I always said that if you're going to hit a vehicle, it might as well be an ambulance. It's like having a heart attack in a hospital.

Agreed somewhat. It shouldn't happen in the first place but if it ever does it is best if it happens near an ambulance or hospital, not always at an ambulance.
