More Hurricanes

The director of the federal National Hurricane Center said to expect more hurricanes, large and small, in the next 10 to 20 years.

Max Mayfield told a congressional panel Tuesday that he believes the Atlantic Ocean is in a cycle of increased hurricane activity that parallels an increase that started in the 1940s and ended in the 1960s. The ensuing lull lasted until 1995. Then the number and power of hurricanes increased dramatically.

HHHHMMMMMMM............I THINK the article meant more hurricanes then usual. You guys can be brutal! I guess the advice to the newbies would be to sit quietly and just READ what the wise OLD medics have to say..........don't even dare to contribute!

First of all...Jon is just a smart ***. Its his nature. We love him for it.

But wait a minute....TTLWHKR = Smartass......Rescuecpt = smartass......Chimpie = smartass.....99% of all EMS personell I know = Smartasses...

Do you see a theme? You really need to get a thicker skin to survive in this field.
