Getting into a rhythm with these, or at the very least getting better at drawing medication vials.

What do you think? Anything you were taught differently?

Burning on injection is normal, though phlebitis, a la valium, is not an issue. I'd just add that the amnestic effect of midazolam combined with its very fast onset is very useful.

For IM and IV or just IV?

I was speaking about IV, but the amnesia isn't dependent on the time of onset (ie, IM takes longer).It's the dose that matters.
