Looking for a good reliable pack for a basic that is Made In America..
I liked maxpedition until I saw where it was made.. No way I'm paying 80 dollars for something that cost about 4 to make.

What do you need it for? A bag to take all your personal crap with you? If that's what you're talking about, I'm a total Oakley fanboy. I take the panel pack on the rig with me and use the duffel on their SI site as an overnight bag. Or... Did until I got laid off

Here's a link, no idea how well they are made.

One of the best little packs I've seen was made in China, and another in Russia, but marketed as being for kids. Straps were "boxed-X" stitched and not sewn into the top welt, heavy duty zippers, no netting, reinforced bottoms.

Just a good durable bag for my things, also something that could be used in case of an emergency or natural disaster sort of scenario.
