Mercy Ambulance- Bell Gardens

I was referred to Mercy Ambulance by another company that was on a hiring freeze. I went to the interview and the "owner" kicked up his boots onto the filthy desk and lit up a cig. It was the most unprofessional thing I had ever seen in my life!! I was in need of a job, so I went on a pre-employment ride along. The "Owner" drove the rig, he told me he is not an EMT or a Medic at this time that he was when he was young. On the way back to the station he light up a smoke in the AMBULANCE!!! Horrible experience. Would not recommend the company to anyone who wants to keep their license.

Did anyone have a similar experience? I wonder if LA. CO. DHS knows...

there are over 70 ambulance companies currently operating in LAco. Not the most regulated business in los angeles. Try getting out of the county to find actual good experience (or preferrably out of the state)
