I have job interview coming up in a city that I haven't been immersed in yet. I'm going to to visit the various emergency medical hospitals in the city so I can memorize things such as hospital names, the surrounding street names, location of the ER and anything else that will help me become more proficient if I get the job.

Does anyone have additional tips for learning about hospitals and what employers expect you to know about them? I've heard that some EMS systems even give a test on the hospital locations but I haven't verified that for myself.

Thank you for your time

learn local landmarks. they asked me that once in an interview.

Knowing where hospitals are isn't a part of our interviews.

You can learn that after you're hired.

If you think it's potentially going to come up then know the area each is in, the major roads to get there and spend some time on your own driving the roads. That way you can demonstrate initiative on your part for learning a new place.

If you are memorizing hospitals go ahead and learn their specialties too.
