This is one of them...

Last night while doing vitals on 3 month baby who had fallen off it's mothers back and landed on it's head, I turned around to tell my partner the baby's resperations and next thing I felt a 'grab' on my finger...

Nursing home to ER call emergent.
Nurse says pt is baseline GCS of 9 ish non verbal lethargic which is what the pt was presenting currently
Pt RR was 44 hypotensive at 90/60 tachy at 124 temp at 100f no Sp02 available
I'm thinking sepsis
Anyway its my first day off of FTO training and I'm trying my hardest not to freak. I start bagging and within 5 minutes pt had become alert to name and verbal with GCS 12
I felt really good about this one

I actually wonder how that baby is doing... was there any major injuries etc.

Some calls I want to follow up on sometimes, but then many people say I shouldn't just now I get bad news...
