I am new to the site as a member, ive read countless posts here and used this site to help me through my basic. Awesome people and posts.

I have recently finished my EMT-I/85 and NREMT for it and now my day has come. MedicWest Las Vegas has given me my test day. However I am quite flustered to take the written test. For preparation Im reviewing my entire book and feel that Im over doing it.

Any tips on what I should focus on? Patient scenarios, general knowledge etc..

This is the career path Ive longed for and look forward to joining the professional ranks, and one day the rank of EMT-P.

I want to work as an I for a year or two. Just to have my bearings down as an emt rather then jumping straight to medic school.

Finished the exam, physical agility and megacode's/scenarios aswell as the interview

The exam was not to bad, got a 90% over all on it.

The mega code went good, the examiner said "atleast someone did better then the paramedics" im assuming that's good lol.

the scenarios were very NREMT similar.

My interview felt solid, before I left the OP manager told me how he liked my energy towards ems and that its the key to working in this field.

All in all fingers crossed and prayers sent out. Hope to hear from them by monday

Also, anyone that is not sure what medicwest is, In Las Vegas they use the same testing process as AMR.
