You made a comment in an online forum and someone quoted it, we should expect that.

I didnt mean to jump on you personally, just the context of the statement is what I take issue with.

Backing off the original comment is kind or well... You know, I still wouldnt agree with it, however I would respect you more for standing by it then attempting to distance yourself from it.

I'm not backing off my comment. I am standing by it. I was simply attempting to clarify what I was saying. I was not saying I want my family to do me in. I don't ever want to put anyone in a situation where they should have to commit a criminal act just to keep me happy. If everyone expected that, there would be chaos. Everyone breaking the law to keep everyone else happy would be a disaster. All I was saying was basically the same thing a DNR says. If I am seriously dying from something horrible, and all I have to look forward to is the rest of my life in misery, don't try to save me. That's all. Ie, i have a broken neck and would be on a vent the rest of my life, then just lemmie go.

Anyway, nothing personal.

Understood, I just apparently made some poor word choices and created what seems to be a huge misunderstanding. What you think I said and what I think I said are about 179 degrees away from each other.


I think we may just have to agree I posted a poorly written comment, you misunderstood it and we possibly disagree on some of the points I brought up.

I have had some experience with this topic, and I got a little heated about it. You just happen to be the unfortunate target.

No offense taken. I just had to make sure you knew I wasn't just being a selfish, unthinking dummy who doesn't care about anyone but himself.

Those are my personal beliefs and were badly worded and actually I now question if those things are even to be shared with anyone. Hindsight can be rather uncomfortable, can't it?
