For some time I have been using the MicroSim inhospital and MicroSim pre-hospital simulator, as a form of fun and learning, because I always loved the pre-hospital emergency.

Do you know other similar simulator?

Thanks for the futures answers.

I've done a little bit of work with various bits of simulator kit in medical education (and a tiny bit of pre-hospital) and it's always struck me that it's not the kit that you use but the fidelity that you provide that is most important.

Using these tools in classrooms is all well and good but using them in an area that looks like the one you work in, with the people you work with and the equipment you would use (or simulated variants thereof) is how to really make people learn. My research was on developing non-technical skills but there's lots of evidence to show the benefits of high-fidelity simulation (over low-fi or no simulation) in both technical and non-technical skills (much less clear in academic stuff though!).
