Hello,

I am a brand new EMT with limited work experience looking for a job in LA. I see that McCormick is hiring again and I am wondering if anyone has had any results without having someone who works there give you a recommendation to Human Resources. Does anyone have any inside information on getting an interview with them? I've read all the threads about McCormick but a lot are a few years old and I know that hiring practices can change especially for a company like McCormick.

Thank You,

Thank You,

go introduce yourself to the hiring fella at their hq. he'll ask you who sent you there, so thats when you'll tell him who your reference is. he will then schedule you for a written test and to bring some certs in. good luck

i remember when it was easy getting hired at McCormick/Westmed. I walked in wearing shorts, vans and a T shirt-passed their pre employment tests and that was it. Everyone was super chill and layer back. Towards the end of my tenure there it was turning into a Mini AMR. I'm sure it is still a great place to work, but it isn't as relaxed as it used to be. My employee number was in the 900's, not sure where they are now.
