Anyone have any info on Liberty Ambulance in Kern County. I know its a small family owned company, but no website and no info available when I search for it. Just looking for some info on how they operate, what the hiring process is like, etc. I'm testing with them in the next few days.

CentralCalEmt is a medic there and can hopefully chime in. There is also a few threads that are about a yr old but are still accurate about hall, Kern, Delano, and liberty.

Fromw what I can tell you is that they run new Chevy 3500 type1 boxes with most of there units having airbags. Lifepack12 and 15 monitors. Run 48or72s I believe. I speak to them occasionally when they come over to our area. They told me they usually hire part time when they do and they are paid 13 of 24 hrs. Or something like that just not the full24 unless they run. They are the second biggest company first being hall . They run around 7-8 rescues a day. They cover a huge area and see a high number of trauma and very sick people. Transport times can be very long being and one of there hospitals in lake Isabella is pretty much a urgent care because of how limited they are.

They cover ridgecrest, trona, Kern river valley, and the towns in the mountains by lake Isabella.
