Just wondering if anyone out there knows about the paramedic side of this ambulance company. Just filled out an app. Any help regarding pay, working conditions for medics would be appreciated thanks.

17 for brand new. But liberty pays more but they don't know how to utilize their calls from what I hear when they got the providence contract they were panicing and needed people to run calls that's why they pay so good. They are 3rd in for kaiser Prn is 1 bowers 2. Prn has Henry mayo, cedars Glendale memorial and Adventist pih north ridge also have contracts with healthcare partners as well and different insurance. I can't see how liberty would be around long paying there employees so much.

Keep in mind tho medics with experience make more than the 17 at Prn.

Ya I figured it was something like that. One of my buddies worked at liberty and he hated it. They would not give him many hours and wanted to only pay him medic pay when he was on a ALS call.

Prn still only do 11hr shifts? Ot after 8?

Liberty is beyond sketchy.. I would avoid it if you can get another offer, which shouldnt be hard.

PRN starts medics at 17, including with experience.. I personally talked to a fresh out of school medic and a seasoned medic who both got hired at the same time. Both offered 17. The seasoned one declined the offer and is back working where he came from, where he was $8/hr more than PRN offered, according to him.

PRN offers 8, 10 and 11 hour shifts. PRN isnt bad, and I would take it in a heart beat over Liberty.

Npo one thing I would like to add is that 17 an hour is negotiable. I know medics who were hired recently that make more than that. My self being hired with a lot of experience I make we'll above starting. Just have to play your cards right.
