Laughter after dextrose?

So had a 80year old female with a bgl of 32. Patient was tracking but not responding to questions. Established an iv and began 250 ml of 10% dextrose. Patient eventually came to and was responding to questions appropriately. Bgl came back to 220.
when we got toER though, patient had uncontrollable laughter and was unable to stop laughin.
has anyone else experienced this with rapid increases to glucose levels?
 
That’s what I thought at first but only history patient had was diabetes and hypertension.
 
PBA is pretty common with Alzheimer's. It wouldn't be the first time the complete history wasn't passed on to EMS
