L.A. County EMT Card - Question

Hello,

I recently passed my NREMT exam and applied for my L.A. County EMT card. I went through the whole process and received my card today.

My question is, is the card supposed to say L.A. County on it or is it just supposed to say 'California EMT..'? The reason I ask is because I saw someone California card along with a SD County card.

Am I missing something here?

California moved to a state wide card. Some counties require an "expanded scope" cert in order for you to work in that county (I believe LA and OC counties).
