I don't even know if we have DNR bracelets/forms here in Mass. I was never taught about them so I don't think we do. Plus we're pretty liberal over here...not too many serious christians (which is mainly the only reason why you would get one)

Then it sounds like your EMT-B instructors failed to teach you the full curriculum as well as prepare you for the situations which you may encounter.
MA has DNRs, I was given a copy of one during EMT school (in MA) to help recognize them. I recommend you fill the void of knowledge which you have regarding these forms as these are very important. Use google, use your yellowbook (or whatever book) and get informed!
