Kentucky EMS Question

[One Confused EMT]

Hey everyone, I am a Basic in California right now and I am interested in moving back with my dads family in Indiana. They live about 15 min. from Louisville so I thought I would try to find a job in Louisville.

Can anyone suggest some solid ambulance companies in the Louisville area?

I would also appreciate any other advice anyone has about working in Kentucky EMS

Not sure how good the jobs are ..but Rural/Metro and Yellow Ambulance are both in Louisville.

911 in Louisville is handled by Louisville Metro EMS. It's a 3rd service, BTW, so no need to waste time with the whole becoming a firefighter in order to be an EMT thing . R/M and Yellow handle transfers, renal roundup, etc. Also, you can find a list of open EMS jobs in Kentucky at the website Kentucky EMS Connection.
