Just got done with EMT-B School.

Hey there, so this week I am getting my state certification for EMT-B, and testing for my national as soon as I can, and I am just wondering if anyone knows of any openings or leads I can follow. I am not with a station, once I get a job I am most likely going to go to be a volunteer as well. I am in Washington state, Tri-Cities area, and am willing to travel a few hours or so. I've looked at AMR and just some local hospitals for ED techs, and I know one hospital runs their own ambulances so I am looking into that as well.

I would not suggest looking for places hours away, EMT Basic pay in most areas is not worth it. Suggestion is to take what ever is available in the area, whether IFT or EMS. Many places require experience before hiring an EMS spot, so do IFT or ER if you have to.
