I had an interview today with rural metro in San Diego today. I think it went pretty well but I was curious how long it usually takes for them to get back to you and let you know if you got the job or not. I completely forgot to ask when I would konw whether or not I got the job. So if anyone knows how long I should wait til I get a call or job offer and when I should do a follow up that would be awesome. Thanks EMT friends.

With Rural/Metro our Bowers Pacific Ambulance?

This has been asked on the forum before. One of our members currently works for Rural/Metro in San Diego. I'll let him speak up if he wishes. His answer previously to this question was that you'd be contact within two weeks regardless of getting the job or not. For Rural/Metro, pay is $10/hour. I don't recall hearing anything about call bonuses or night differentials. They do a combination of IFT and 911 with BLS and ALS ambulances.

You should hear back from R/M San Diego within two weeks in regards to whether or not you have been selected for employment.

If you have any other questions feel free to PM me. I'll try my best to answer them.
