Hay friends,
I had an interview yesterday with rural metro . I think I did good on behavioral questions, but didn't do well in scenario questions . The interviewers were nice hopefully they accept me and there were other candidates for interview. Anybody can advise on how
Do they take it serious and when they interview people for how many posts they do? I mean it's many people for one position or for many empty positions?
Thanks in advance!

No experience with RM, but since RM was acquired by AMR, I assume RM & AMR hire similarly. Was it for a 911 or IFT spot?

From my past experiences (911 operation), everyone is given a written test, oral stations ( senario questions ) then a basic interview. People are awarded points based on how well they did and were ranked accordingly. Then they call references, and do a background/drug test. If no one was disqualified, they hire down the list.

The interview for the Emt position I think it's more IFT. But thanks for the info that helped a little bit,

I haven't worked for RM but I am an AMR employee. If your an EMT, especially fresh out of school, as long you can show baseline competency then the corporate big boys will usually hire you because of the high attrition rate of EMTs.
