What are the certifications needed to become an Instructor? EMT Instructor? CPR Instructor? In Los Angeles County.

Check with the local programs around you as each one may have different requirements. Some may just require and EMT cert while others may require a paramedic license and a degree.

I'm currently looking to instruct and get these guys Nationally Certified. I'm living in Saipan (Northern Mariana Islands, a US commonwealth). The closest training center is on Guam (about an hour away). I've been in EMS about 3 years, had my Paramedic for a year. I have experience with fire and have given CPR classes, but nothing to this extent. Everything I research seems to pertain to specific states. Not sure where to go from here. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked into the laws of Saipan that govern EMS? There may be specific statutes regarding an EMS institute, who is allowed to teach, etc.
