Inhalable Insulin???

I recently became aware of the Corporation, Mannkind. Their company stock was at $2.75, so I made a purchase(first time buying stock as well). But now their stock is dropping. And with some research found out they’re not doing well, and on the verge of going out of business. It blows my mind, since they are doing some cool s***.

They manufacture an inhaled insulin. Similar to albuterol for asthmatics. I feel like this is not being blown up and receiving the recognition it deserves.

Anyone else here know about this? The med is FDA approved, and seems to work, unless you have COPD.

I am not a diabetic, but if I were, this would be a dream come true.

Without knowing anything at all about the product, my guess is that it is very expensive and insurers won’t pay for it.

I made money on it a few years back. Bought at around 2, sold at 10-12 dollars. Made a little coin. Sounded like a great idea then. Still does today. Should have rolled over what I made to iRobot.

No, I doubt that would happen with this thread, but I surely wouldn't mind if the price went up!
