I'm taking emt-b, now what?

Hello. I'm 29 and I am on week 2 of EMT-basic in south carolina and it will last a few more months. What can I do in the mean time to gain skills and experience?

I should mention I have a misdemeanor charge of open container from about 1.5 years ago, and an accident 6 months ago. :sad:

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Nothing. Schools already started so just stay focused in that.


What are your goals after EMT class?

I'm thinking paramedic, but I want to be sure this is a fit for me. Still very early.
 
well actually, ambulance company, or FD, or something that let me be able to do paramedic school.

go on as many ride alongs as you can!!! make friends with the FTO's at your ridealong

and just read and read and read your book
