ILS- Yeay!

I wrote my final EMC exam yesterday, and as soon as i get my results- I can register as ILS!

So after the first year of the degree, i'll be ILS, and only after the 4th year ALS. But yeay!

Ok, I have no idea what ILS is, but congrats to you for reaching that point in your education!

ILS - Intermediate Life Support

Its one of the S African qualifications, very similar to an EMT-I

We can start IVs, do needle crics, chest decompression, defibrillate and have a limited amount of drugs such as dextrose, beta2 stimulants, ASA and ipratropium bromide.
