Various places, EMS versus Fire. Big city (paid/vol fire:all vol EMS), we were essentially on our own for the EMS people to catch something. I can't remember but a few times where we actually cooked in the station. We usually resorted to catching something between runs (either fast-food or a family-type restaurant in our area).
Now, I'm working as a volunteer without a crew on-station so there's no problem in that respect. I am getting some ride time at a station where everyone is a FF/EMT-B or EMT-P. It's usually on our own for lunch, but we try to plan something for dinner.
There's been shepherd's pie, lots of pasta dishes, roast in the crock pot, etc. Haven't had a bad meal (yet).
