I passed my EMT-B class and the final, now we are just on to our state practicals and written, then the plan is to take the NREMT tests.

Sorry I've been MIA lately, but with school, clinicals, moving, working full-time plus still working for the race team, I haven't seen a single one of my friends in a good two months!!!

Well done Indy...Way to go girl!
When are you coming to NZ with that race team???

Cheers Enjoynz

I'm hoping in January....we'll see though!! Looks like I'm getting married in January, so it all depends on that :-)

Congrats and good luck with your state testing! We have to help out with the practical as a requirement for medic class, so I will be there in a couple weeks, too.

Epi...I'll be honest, I'm a little freaked out about practicals...they have been stressing Trauma Assessment, and I'm terrified!!!

Just take a deap breath, remember what you have learned, and you will be fine. Don't let them psych you out about things. You know this stuff - just go in confident of your abilities and knowledge.

Congrats!

That is great news! Epi is right... believe in yourself !!;)

:)congrats, one more step and you will be a full blooded EMT.

Double congrats girl!!!!!!
Get married in NZ!!!!

P.S. I had to say it...Also congrats to 'Scott Dixon' on winning the Indy 500...go Kiwi's!

Cheers Enjoynz

EnjoyNZ...it looks like Key West is going to be the destination of choice...

Three classes left for practical study sessions...just keep plugging away I guess is all I can do :-)

You know, I stressed on my practicals too. ( I passed 2 weeks ago)

Just remember your protocols and your assessment sheets.

You are allowed to make notes on your scratch paper when you get into the room,

What I did was simple:

They will tell you that when you are ready they will give you your intel. I wrote this down the side of the paper.

If I hit all of this, then I was good to go. If i felt like I missed somthing I made a note to touch on it at the end (i.e. What else would you like to do)

Questions? Just get ahold of me on here.
